The world is divided in two.
Ark, the city that floats in the sky, casting its dazzling light.
The Ground, devastated, with fights for limited resources.
Libel, leader of the Ground's resistance organization Rebellion, came up with the only way to change their situation.
To kidnap the “Tenshi” that only appears before people once every 4 years, during the festival.
The “Tenshi” is the Church of Nerve's symbol as well as the absolute object of worship and faith for the residents of Ark.
If the “Tenshi” is stolen, then neither Ark nor the Church of Nerve will be able to continue ignoring the Ground. Libel believes that is the only opportunity to seek a dialogue, so that they may finally attain freedom and equality.
And thus, on the day of the festival, the “Tenshi” is successfully kidnapped...

THE FORGOTTEN ONES
Living in a world void of sunlight
After falling of the cliff and into a river, Libel and Arme meet three mysterious young men. Only those 3 live in the vast underground space. They know the secret(s) of the world and the Tenshi.
The place where Libel and Arme landed was a subterranean space.
There they met three young men: Kabane, Kuon, Konoe.
It seems, those three know the Tenshi’s and the world’s secrets.
Kuon ： "Kabane, I don’t want you to repeat it. The same mistake…"

Kuon 「クオン」
Living in tranquility.
A mysterious young man living in the underground. Always with a lonely smile on his face. Has a peculiar outlook on the world which often confuses the people the talks to. Is tender-hearted and kind and tries to show his best hospitality to Libel and Arme.
Kabane 「カバネ」
A living corpse
A mysterious young man living in the underground. His eyes seem hollow, without any light. He avoids talking directly to Kuon and uses Konoe as an intermediary. He doesn't participate in the battle between Ark and the ground and merely observes.
Konoe 「コノエ」
An underground attendant
A mysterious young man living in the underground. May look boorish at first glance but is quite cheerful and well- mannered. Cultivates new land int eh underground, grows vegetables and does all the housework. Takes care and controls the underground's lifeline since Kabane and Kuon are bad at living.
